Figures Tell About Phone Cards

  • Calling cards with maintenance fee: the rates are lower at least on 10% than those without maintenance fee.
  • Customers say that ComFi is 3 times cheaper than Skype.
  • Fast World card
    • The rates are 70% to 90% cheaper than AT&T card from the most locations.
    • The amount of cards sold comes up to 56% of the total sales in separate months.
  • Continental card
    • Over 11 handy features in one card!
    • The amount of cards sold comes up to 75% of the total sales in separate months.
    • Some of users buy and recharge this card up to 14 times !!! and spend up to $120 a month.
  • Simply card
    • Surcharge is only 0.2 cents per minute extra for using a toll free access number in the USA. Whereas other phone cards charge an extra 1 to 3 cents per minute for using a toll free access.
    • The amount of cards sold comes up to 20% of the total sales in separate months.
    • One of users once was buying and recharging the Simply cards 13 times for a month! He spent $260 on them at the time!
  • Jupiter card
    • It has so many local access numbers that most people will not need the toll free number. Using the toll free access number costs 1 cent/min more than local access.
    • The amount of cards sold comes up to 30% of the total sales in separate months.
    • Some of users buy and recharge this card up to 9 times !!! and spend up to $130 a month.
Due to the data from ComFi.com, in March 2006 - December 2009, it was reduction (%) in the rates on calls with prepaid phone cards (from USA):

So the largest declines were observed for India - 72.5%. The rates only did not change to Australia. However, there are some destinations where the rates had gone up. The most increase was for Chile - 44.4%, Japan - Tokyo - 36.4%.

So the largest declines were observed for India - 64.1%, Mexico - 42.9%. But the rates had gone up to two countries: Bolivia - 22.2%, Armenia - 1.7%.
